I am the mother of a 12 year old boy and as he gets closer to those teenage years, new questions start to pop up. We've been with the same doctor since my son was 3, so when visiting that doctor for a checkup, I was surprised when a new doctor walked in to the room. I was so pleased to meet Dr. Sarraf. I thought it would be great for my son, at his age, to have a male doctor. Dr. Sarraf is so thorough and asked my son so many questions, it made him feel very comfortable. He asked him personal questions to get to know him, but also worked in some other questions to help answer some medical questions he had too. I found the conversation very interesting. He is also very funny, but also very serious when need be. I feel my son has a good enough relationship with Dr. Sarraf that he could ask him anything, even things he was embarrassed to ask me, and get a fair, straight answer. I think he needs that as he grows into those teenage years. I look forward to our visits to see Dr. Sarraf, as does my son. I was very disappointed when he told us he was leaving Bakersfield, but we will try to see him in his new Beverly Hills office when we can. I would recommend Dr. Sarraf to all my friends and hope that you will go to see him as well. I hope that my son will be able to see Dr. Sarraf til he is too old for the pediatrician and has to start going to a regular adult doctor.
